COLILLI, Ilda (née Ventresca) - (1926- 2008) - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Ilda Colilli age 81 on February 13, 2008 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Ilda moved to Canada from her place of birth Introdacqua (Aquila, Italy) in 1951. Loving wife of Mario (predeceased 1999). Sadly missed by son Paul and his wife Diana Iuele of Sudbury and daughter Teresa of Toronto. Loving nonna of André, Julian and Olivia of Sudbury. Dear daughter of the late Panfilo Ventresca and Maria Filippa Giuliani. Beloved sister of Vena and the late Eliodoro Volpe of Italy, Ailanda and the late Domenico Foglietta, Mario and Italia Ventresca, Giuseppe and Maria Ventresca, the late Gianna and the late Francesco Imperatore and Maria and Michele Fortunato, all of Hamilton and Stoney Creek. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins from Canada, Italy and the United States. Resting at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James St.), Hamilton, ON, where friends and family may visit on Friday 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 16, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek. Committal to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Grdens Road, Burlington, ON. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. 10990704
