AELICK, Clifford Gerald “Tuff) - Passed away suddenly on Friday February 15th 2008 in Hanmer at the age of 69. Born in Little Current on May 28, 1938 to Elias and Henrietta Aelick (both predeceased). Beloved husband of Helen (nee Gilmour). Loved father of David Aelick (wife Lynn) of Hanmer, Mary Lynn Bertrand (husband Kelly) of Stoney. Cherished grandpa of Kayla & Leah Aelick of Hanmer, Bailey & Denver Bertrand of Stoney Creek. Brother of Dick (predeceased) & wife Gertrude, Bob (predeceased) & wife Doris, John (predeceased) & wife Marion and Nola Golder. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. After retiring from INCO (with 35 years), Cliff's greatest joy was spending time with his wife & family. He enjoyed laughter. He loved his cottage on Mackie Bay, Manitoulin Island in the summer, taking long walks and enjoying nature. In the winter he love skidooing, especially when speed was involved. He touched the hearts of many people who knew him. At the request of Cliff “Tuff“ there will be no visitation or funeral service. Family & friends will gather for a graveside service on Saturday May 3, 2008 in Mountainview Cemetery. The time to be announced.
