BROWN, Edna Bernice - At the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Monday, February 11th, 2008, in her 91st year. Bernice Brown (nee Buchanan) of Cobourg, and formerly of Little Lake Road, Salem, daughter of the late William Busby Buchanan and the late Bertha Maria (Goodfellow). Loving wife of the late William Sanford Brown, for 68 year. Dearest mother of Dixie and her husband John Winkworth. Predeceased by her son James Brown. Survived by her daughter-in-law Carol Brown and her partner Lee Dekeyser. Sister of the Reverend Charles Buchanan and his wife Shirley. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Troy Brown and his wife Stefani and their daughter Abigail; Mandy (Brown) and her husband Clark Masterson and their children Quinn and Cole; Devon Winkworth and his wife Elizabeth and their children, Courtney, Olivia, and Cayden; Birkley Winkworth; Alyssa (Winkworth) and her husband Dave McCallum and their children, Dane, Alex and Ellianne. The family will receive friends at the WALAS FUNERAL HOME, 130 Main Street, Brighton on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. Service will be held at Salem United Church on Friday, February 15th, 2008 at 1 o'clock.
