PARISOTTO, Luciana "Lucy" (nee Daru) In loving memory of Luciana Parisotto, 65 years of Azilda, who passed away Monday morning, May 3, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. She was born in Rivis, Udine, Italy and married Pasquale Parisotto in 1958 in Sudbury. Lucy came to Canada in 1949 settling in the Sudbury area in 1951. She was a devout Roman Catholic who attended St. Alexander's Church (Azilda) and she belonged to the parish CWL. She had been an account executive at Foot and Goring and then Martin's Insurance having 40 years in the Insurance industry. Lucy was well respected and liked by her colleagues and clients always giving 100%. She often mentored others in the workplace. She had a wonderful gift of music she shared as a member of the Caruso Club Choir. Lucy was an avid gardener whose efforts produced beautiful flowers; she was an accomplished seamstress, and she enjoyed paper tole, the outdoors and golfing. An excellent cook she was happiest hosting family dinners. Her home was the center of the family where everyone gathered to enjoy good food, fun, and fellowship. Always quick to help others she will be remembered as a dynamic woman who generously shared her light with all she met. The focus of her life was her loving family especially her precious grandchildren whom she took great pride and interest in their activities and accomplishments. Lucy is now a beautiful flower in God's garden. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Beloved wife of Pasquale. Loving mother of Larry (Nicoletta) and Roberto (Patricia). Cherished Nonna of Cristina, Giuliana, Marco, Carlee, and Natalee. Dear daughter of Enrico and Gisella Daru (predeceased). Dear sister of Nella Certossi (Giorgio) and Erminio Daru (predeceased). Favourite Zia to many nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Alexander's Church, Azilda, Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 11 am. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Prayers 3 pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lucy Parisotto Memorial Bursary at Cambrian College. (Friends may call 2-9 pm Wednesday).
