THORNBORROW, William “Bill“ Edward - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bill Thornborrow in his 72nd year, on Saturday, February 2nd 2008. Beloved husband and best friend of Dianne for 49 years. Loving father of Ginny Young of Mt. Pleasant, Brian (Yolanda) of Kitchener, and Lori (Brandon) Graves of Brantford. Special Papa to Cody Young, Jordan and Austin Thornborrow, and Nathan Graves. Dear brother of Janet Neal of Westport, Allen (Shirley) Thornborrow of Scarborough, Dawn (Colin) McClelland of Paris, Jack (Mary) Lewis of Paris, and Norma (Wayne) Roper of Ayr. Dear brother- in-law of Rev. Ken (Maureen) Jackson of Georgetown. Predeceased by his mother Jean Lewis (1990), and sister Barb Monroe (1997) and his brother Donald Thornborrow (2004). Bill's family was first and foremost in his life. He was an Elder and member of the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. He owned and operated “William Thornborrow Trucking“ for over 25 years. Bill had a passion for gardening, photography and music. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Bill's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
