FIELD, Nancy J. - a resident of Chatham. Nancy Jane Field died Saturday February 2, 2008 (her 57th Wedding Anniversary) at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 72. Born in Thamesville, Ontario daughter of the late Wilfred Joseph & Lillian Emily (Ambrose) LaBelle. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Edward Field (1991). Dear mother of Margo & Brian Labadie; Ron & Yvette Field; Cynthia Simpson & her husband the late Brian Simpson; Michael Field & Deb Dale; Charles Field & Stacey Broad and Joe & Linda Field all of Chatham. Grandmother of 15 and Great Grandmother of 13. Sister of Rita Hesh, Dresden; Grace Velchuk, Hamilton and the late Lee, Charles, Wilfred, Fred, Francis & Geraldine LaBelle and Mary Buller . Also survived by several nieces, nephews and best friend Christine Lucier. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Monday February 4, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home on Monday at 4:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Chatham on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m with Fr. Joseph Nevett celebrant. Interment St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation appreciated.
