HUGHES, Barbara Mary Stafford (nee Dale) - In High River, Alberta on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 after a valiant struggle with cancer, Barbara, beloved wife of James C. Hughes. Devoted Mother of Sarah (Andrew Simmonds), Stephen (Dawn), Peter (Laurie), Janet (Harold Pliszka) and adoring grandmother of seven. She was the elder daughter of the late Prudence Dale and of Geoffrey M.C. Dale. She is also survived by her sister Penny (Frank Brathwaite) and her brother Ian (Maggie).
