Blake Walter MITCHELL

MITCHELL, Blake Walter - It is with deep sorrow that we advise of the passing of Blake Walter Mitchell at home in Mississauga, Ontario on Saturday, February 9, 2008. Blake passed peacefully after a lengthy illness while surrounded by the deep love and affection of his wife Deborah and son Matthew.He is survived by his parents Walter and Doris Mitchell of Langley, BC, his loving wife Deborah and son Matthew, daughter Carrie and husband Trevor Murrell and granddaughter Brinn of Cambridge, Ontario, daughter Cori Mitchell of Chilliwack, BC and his sister Laurie and husband Wayne Leach of Langley, BC as well as nieces and nephews.Born in Brantford, Ontario on July 22, 1943, Blake was the elder son of Wally and Doris and grew up in the Brantford area with his sister Laurie and younger brother Darcy (deceased). He served proudly with the Canadian Armed Forces both in Canada and Overseas as well as with the Brantford Police Department prior to a successful security business career. He will be sadly missed by his family, relatives, many friends and business associates.
