WHITTINGTON, Melaney Ann - A resident of Stoney Creek formerly of Chatham, Melaney Whittingon, tragically taken from those she loved and who loved her, on February 8, 2008. Born in Chatham on September 10, 1976 to Daleanna and Bill Whittington. Loving sister of Marnie Whittington-Day and her husband Cory Day. Special aunt to Conner and Leah Day. Cherished and much loved wife of Kelly Issacs. Melaney will also be dearly missed by her many aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends who loved her dearly. Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Melaney's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to take place with interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery at later date. Memorial donations to honour Melaney's life may be made to the Chatham-Kent SPCA and would be greatly appreciated by the family. There is one more star in the sky tonight, shining boldly, shining bright. Our lives will never be the same without our shining star. She was a beautiful, proud woman. An accomplished athlete and an excellent student studying to be an Early Childhood Education teacher. She loved children and pets. She packed more living in her short 31 years than most people do in their lifetime. She is now home with her Nana-Donna Legue, Grandpa Bear Del Whittington and Gramma Lila Whittington.
