JOHNSTON, Ella Mae - Of Chatham and formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at the Public General Campus on Friday, January 25, 2008 in her 94th year. Ella is the daughter of the late Joseph Victor & Geneva Madeline “Jane“ (Brabaw) Furtah. Beloved wife of the late Harold George Johnston (1983). Ella was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her daughter Elaine & her husband Peter Burtch of Chatham, grandchildren James & Rodica Johnston and Carol & Douwe Sikkema and great grandson Nicholas. Dear sister of the late Joe and Norman Furtah and Gladys Barnes. Friends may call at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Monday. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Al Edmonds and Pastor Andrew Nelson on Tuesday, January 29 at 1:30 PM. The interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
