COLWELL, Hugh Nelson - of Wallaceburg, in his 87th year, passed away at Fairfield Park on Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Dearly loved husband of the late Pauline (Belle-Isle)(2004). Son of the late George and Jean Colwell. Loving father of Lorraine (and the late Donald) Moffat of Stratford; Janet and Norman Blondeel of Kitchener; Paul and partner Kym Morrow of Wallaceburg; Phil and Jackie of Scotland; Mark and partner Kim Collison of Elora; and Michelle and Wayne Hellewell of Wallaceburg. Adoring grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 10. Loving brother-in- law of Jack and Murielle Ward of Lasalle, Que. and Paul (and the late Annette (Chatel)) Leclerc of Wallaceburg. Cherished uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend of Kerry and Greg Stone and Marilyn and John Chatel of Wallacburg. Predeceased by sister Margaret (Colwell) and Bob Pridmore, in-laws Marcel Belle-Isle, Denis and Connie Belle-Isle and Ferdnand Chatel. He served in the Navy during World War II and was part owner of the Wallaceburg News from 1957-1967 with his sister Margaret. He also owned Colwell's Office and School Supplies. Friends may call at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin) in Wallaceburg from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. on Sunday. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Brian Anderson at the funeral home on Monday, February 4 at 11 a.m. The interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the M.S.
