BOISVENUE, René - Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, on Thursday, January 24, 2008. René Boisvenue (Carpenter and former co-owner of B & B Food Market) of Alexandria; age 84 years. Beloved husband of 57 years of Lucille Boisvenue (nee Ladouceur). Dear father of Michel Boisvenue (Diane) and André Boisvenue (Sylvie) both of Alexandria, Robert (Bob) Boisvenue (Sheri) of Cornwall, Denise Collins (Darryl) of Orleans and Lynn Delorme (Robert) of Alexandria. Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandsons, Marc and Jean Boisvenue. Dear son of the late Isaac Boisvenue and the late Jennie Cuerrier. Dear brother of Rita Labrecque of Cornwall and Donat Boisvenue (Jeanne) of Alexandria. Predeceased by one brother, Bruno Boisvenue and by seven sisters, Délia Charlebois, Annette Ladouceur, Laurette Attendu, Clara Brunet, Jeanne Boisvenue, Pearl Lalonde and Ida Lefebvre. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria, on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 11:00 am. followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation or Lung Association of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
