WHALEY, Ida Bell - Mrs. Ida Whaley formerly of Long Sault at her residence on Sunday January 27, 2008 at the age of 78 years. (Longtime member of Christ Church Anglican, Long Sault). Beloved wife of the late Ernest (Ernie) Whaley. Loved mother of Susan Whaley; James Whaley (Denise), Laurie Hamilton (Ron); Mark Whaley (Patti); Stephen Whaley (Frances); and Mike Whaley (Tami). Sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Jack and Isabella (Cathcart) Bell. Dear sister of Larry Bell and Mary Emard. Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall from 2 PM Wednesday January 30th. Funeral services will be celebrated in Christ Church Anglican, Long Sault on Thursday January 31, 2008 at 2:00 PM. Reverend Stephen Silverthorne celebrant. Interment at a later date in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Thursday 11 AM to 1:15 PM.
