LAFRANCE, Lionel – At the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Sunday, January 27, 2008. Lionel J. Lafrance of 80 Third Street, St. Regis, QC; age 47 years. Dear son of William Lafrance Sr. of St. Regis and the late Margaret (Bush) Lafrance. Dear brother of Francis Lafrance (Martha), Sheila Lafrance, William Lafrance Jr. (Hilary) all of Snye, QC, Michael Lafrance, Carol Lafrance, Leona Lafrance all of St. Regis, QC and Derrick Lafrance (Myra) of Hogansburg, NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lionel worked as a carpenter with the MCA Housing Department. He was a fisherman and trapper and made the river his second home. He loved to cook and cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews. Resting his father’s residence, 80 Third Street, St. Regis, QC from 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Friday, February 1, 2008 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Regis Church at 11 a.m. followed by cremation.
