Michael Ross PIERCY

Michael Ross Piercy August 08, 1939 - May 14, 2004 Michael Ross Piercy, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba August 8, 1939. After a lengthy battle with cancer, Mike passed away peacefully on May 14, 2004 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents, Robert & Matilda Piercy, both of Winnipeg. Mike is survived by his son, Rob (Colleen), and daughters, Jandi (Mark) and Lynanne (Brian). He also leaves behind four beautiful grandchildren: Michael, Brittany, Nicholas and Jacob. The family wishes to express our sincere appreciation for the care provided by the team from Esquimalt Community Health (especially Pat Labourdais) and Juan de Fuca Home Support. The staff & volunteers at Victoria Hospice provided us all with warm and compassionate care in dad’s final days – thank you all so much. Mike will be missed by his family and many friends. A celebration of life will be held at Mike’s favorite place, the Tudor House Pub, on Wednesday, May 19th from 3:00 – 5:00. Flowers gratefully declined.
