Lorenzo Sabatini March 14, 1929 - May 17, 2004 SABATINI, Lorenzo 79 years. Peacefully on May 17, 2004 with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of 43 years to Ida (nee DiLuca). Loving and devoted father to his son Larry & his wife Marianela, his daughters Linda and Lina and his son Dino. Cherished Nonno to Anthony, Sarah, Angela, Laura and Jorge. Looking down from Heaven is his little angel, Nicole. Pre-deceased by his parents Antonio and Emilia (Valentini), Giovanni and Angela DiLuca, his sister Vilma D’Andrea and brother-in-law Americo DeLuca. Dear brother of Natalino and his wife Dolores, Anna and her husband Valentino, Ginevra and her husband Americo, Joseph and his wife Emily and his brother-in-law Roger and his wife Clara. Many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends will sadly miss him. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc. Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the doctors, nurses, staff and co-workers at the Hospice, Windsor Regional Hospital and the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. Visitation will be held Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will beheld on Thursday May 20, 2004 at 10:15 a.m. from Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. to St. Patrick’s Church for Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m.. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Lorenzo Sabatini in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 26, 2004.
