BEACOCK, E. Herb - Passed away at Meaford Long Term Care Centre with his family by his side on Thursday, January 31, 2008. Herb Beacock, W.W.2 Veteran. Beloved husband of the former Doris Atkins. Dear father of Joyce Knott (Barry) of Hepworth, Elaine Paton (John Hull) of Owen Sound, Nancy Taylor (Wayne) of Barrie, Jane Badets (Bill) of Ottawa. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren Wally, Mark, Alison, Raymond, Carrie, Rebecca, Sarah, Nadine, and Catherine, also five great grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, Carl of Owen Sound and Ken of Elliot Lake and one sister Gladys Williamson of Walkerton. Resting at the GARDINER-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Meaford where visitation will be held on Monday, February 4 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Christ Church Anglican, Meaford on Tuesday morning, February 5 at 11 a.m. Spring interment Wiarton Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations to the Meaford General Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 32, Meaford will hold a memorial service at the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at the funeral home by Burns Lodge #436 AF & AM Hepworth on Monday evening at 6:45 p.m. 10978787
