Gertrude May GRAHAM

Gertrude May Allan (née Graham), RN - August 16, 1908 - May 19, 2004 - Peacefully at Golden West Centennial Lodge in Winnipeg, MB with family at her side. Gertie was predeceased by her husband Leslie Compton Allan in October of 1977 as well as her parents Maude and William Graham. Also by all of her siblings except one sister Pearl (Gordon) Smith of Minnedosa and one sister-in-law Edna (Lloyd) Graham of Holland. Gertie has gone to join her brothers and sisters: Bertha (Albert) Evans, Elsie (James) Donald, Oliver (Gladys), Lloyd, Ivan 'Joe', Ruby (Clifford 'Gil') Gilchrist, Laura (Basil) Pratt, Martin 'Mike', and Emma (Jerry) Mahoney. Gertie was born after Lloyd and Pearl was born after Mike. Gert leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families. Many thanks to all the sincere and wonderful staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for loving and caring for her since June 5,1986, also for the kindness and caring shown to the family members during the very 'trying' last week. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 26 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with visitation one half-hour prior to the service. Interment and reception to follow.
