Roland "Butch" Boucher January 26, 1926 - March 15, 2004 (Veteran of WWII HMCS Lindsay, Retired employee of STELCO - Metalurgical Lab, Life master of the American Bridge Association, Groom at Flamborough Downs and Longtime member of St. Joseph's Parish) Peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, on Monday March 15, 2004. Roland "Butch" Boucher of Hamilton in his 79th year. Beloved son of the late Emile & Lucienne Boucher. Loved brother of Teresa & Phillippe, Aurele, Raymond and Leo & Betty. Predeceased by sister Jeanette & her husband Jerry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his adopted parents Murray & Greta Wilson of Hamilton. Sadly missed by his adopted sister Judy & her husband Norm. Special uncle and best friend to Brian and Suzanne and their families. Will be missed by his friends at the Westown. Roland is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home "ROBINSON CHAPEL" (King Street East at Wellington) Hamilton 905-522-2496 where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Prayer Service followed by a Naval Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 8 pm. Cremation to follow. If so desired, remembrances to Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation (McMaster)- Pediatric Leukemia Research would be appreciated by the family.
