DOIRON, Louis Michael DOIRON, Louis Michael - Passed away suddenly from a snowmobile accident at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Friday, February 8, 2008. Michael Doiron of Bradford at 46 years of age. Born in Antigonish, he was the eldest son of Simon and Patrice (MacDougall) Doiron. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Helliker and her parents Peter and Liz Helliker; his children, Erica Murphy (Bobby) of Antigonish; Lindsay Murphy (Ryan) of Brampton, Ont.; Rory Murphy of Jasper, Alta.; and their mother, Debbie Murphy of Brampton, Ont.; Spencer, Braydon, Madisyn and Kylar Doiron and their mother, Lauren Doiron all of Mississauga, Ont.; Tara (Marcus) Bertrand and her mother, Chris Worm of Edmonton, Alta.; granddaughters, Maggie and Ireland Peters of Antigonish, and Haley and Alyssa Bertrand of Edmonton, Alta.; brothers, Terry, John, and Simon, all of Toronto; Ronnie (Angie) and Kyle, both of Antigonish; sisters, Susie (Artie) Williams, Dauphine (Rollie MacHattie), and Wanda all of Antigonish. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Michael and Rita MacDougall and paternal grandparents, Louis and Margaret Doiron of Nova Scotia. He was employed at Simplex Grinnell for the past 20 years as a pipefitter. Michael was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Friends may call at Skwarchuk Funeral Home , 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. Spring interment St. Croix Cemetery, N.S.
