Preston C. Hurd August 27, 1940 - March 16, 2004 Hurd, Preston C. (Recently retired from Paperboard Industries) Suddenly passed on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 63. Beloved husband of the late Linda. Loving father of Susan, Joseph and the late Timothy and father-in-law of Blayne Carter. Dear son of Charles and the late Dorothea Hurd. Brother of Marianne Strewart and Peter Hurd. Preston will be remembered by his niece and nephews. Friends may call at the “SCARBOROUGH CHAPEL” of McDougall & Brown, 2900 Kingston Road (east of St. Clair Ave. E.) on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
