Jeannette Rosemarie Pickering September 08, 1915 - March 07, 2004 Pickering, Jeannette (nee Rheaume) 88 years, peacefully, on March 7, 2004 surrounded by her loving family at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Beloved wife of 62 years to Jack. Loving mother of Robert and wife Myrna; Richard and wife Carol; Tom; Barbara and husband Gerry Gosselin; Nancy and husband Bill Ruch, all of Windsor. Dear grandmother to Lisa, Bradley and wife Candace; Jason and Jonathan; Christopher, Geoff and Greg; Livia and Dillon. Dearest sister of Aimee Ford and the late Pauline Laporte. Dear sister-in-law of Hughie and wife Pat. Aunt Jeannette will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and a special thank-you to Susan. Jeannette was a lifelong friend of Marcella Bryans. A special thank you to the 3rd East nursing staff at Hotel Dieu. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her positive outlook. Visiting Monday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 9th at 10:30 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. A cremation will follow. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jeannette Pickering in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
