Vytautas Barisas June 29, 1915 - May 26, 2004 - 89 years on May 26, 2004 at WIndsor Regional Hosptial Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband of Emilija (nee Leimontaite). Loved father of Vaidutis (Al) Barisas & wife Jurate. Loving Grandpa of Daina-Saule Barisas. Dear brother of Bronius & wife Erna Barisas. Nieces Gintarele and husband Nick Contini, Barbara & husband Ted Dilkens, and nephews Jonas & wife Nicole, Jurgis & wife Laura and their children Sarah & Jacob. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters in Lithuania. Survived by many nieces and nephews also in Lithuania. Visitation will be held Thursday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m.. Funeral service will be held Friday May 28, 2004 at 9:15 a.m from Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., (253-5225) to St. Casmir Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m.. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Catholic Church of your choice as masses in memory of Vytautas. A tree will be planted in memory of Vytautas Barisas in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication serivce will be held September 26, 2004.
