Lillian Laurette PAIEMENT

Lillian Laurette Bauer (née Paiment) March 23, 1916 - May 27, 2004 It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our much loved Mother, Laurette. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Alois in 1973 and her daughter Bunny Lynne Foley in 1980. She leaves three daughters, Anita Gerling (Peter), Louise Barker (Jack), Roberta Lane (Dennis) and one son Richard. Mom was so grateful for the affection of her constant companion – her cat Mitzi. Her legacy includes 12 grandchildren, David, Robert, Aaron Gerling; Paul, Douglas, Cristi, Cori Hawtin; Jason, Thomas Lane, Lisette (Lane) Czarniewski; James Bauer, Sharon (Bauer) Fredrickson, as well as 14 great grandchildren. Mom always enjoyed her social and interactive connection to the many groups that she was privileged to be a part of: primarily the Trekkers, The Sunshine Singers, The French Club and many various Church Groups that were always important to her spiritual being. We wish to thank those that were involved with her later years and her quality of living, especially Dr. Sandra Kavanaugh, the residents and staff at the Churchill Retirement Community, who collectively were wonderful to her and she enjoyed every one of them so much. Also the University Hospital, where her needs were always met with professionalism and kindness. A Memorial Service will be held at South Side Memorial Chapel (8310 – 104 Street) on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. Cremation has taken place and Laurette’s final resting place will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
