Marjorie Leith Bartosik (née Harding) - October 10, 1922 - June 05, 2004 - On Saturday, June 5, 2004, after a brief and stoic fight at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, which she hoped was not an inconvience to the doctors and staff. She is lovingly survived by best friend and husband of 53 years, Frank V. and family, Bruce, Adria, Chelsea Leith, Alec, Jill Chevalier, Paul and Harding Wheeler. A truly contemporary woman before it was common or expected. Leith always had time and energy to stop and help others, be it kids from a 40+ year career at C.A.S. Hamilton or one of the numerous programs and organizations to which she contributed her time, affection, and commitment, no one was outside of Leith's giving compassion and desire to help. A truly remarkable woman whose grace, class and compassion will be sadly missed by all those whose life was touched by her spirit. A Grand Dame of Classic description. Mrs. Bartosik is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home ROBINSON CHAPEL (King Street East at Wellington, 905-522-2496) where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Leith's life and beliefs will be held at First Pilgrim United Church (200 Main St. East) on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Remembrances to the First Tomorrow Fund First Place would be appreciated by the family
