Andy EWING

Andy Ewing - Andy passed away peacefully on May 9, 2004 with his family at his side. He was born at Michichi, AB September 5, 1922. Andy lived a full and active life. From a farming background he was very involved in the oilfield industry till the time of his retirement. He was an active member of the Giza Shrine and Victoria Cruising Club. Andy is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Helen; daughter, Peggy (Ron) Woodruff; four grandchildren, Karen (Yvon) Hotti, Keith (Tamera), Ian (Tanya) and Heather Woodruff; six great-grandchildren and three sisters, Alice, Dorothy and Irene in Alberta. Andy was predeceased by his son Allen in 1971; four brothers and one sister. Memorial Service will be held in the Saanich Peninsula Presbyterian Church, 9296 East Saanich Road, Sidney, BC on Monday, May 17, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, c\o the Sidney Shrine Club, 1189 Marchand Road, Brentwood Bay, BC, V8N 1G7.
