Ola Woodworth 1936-2004 HOPEWELL HILL, NB - Ola Woodworth, 68, of Hopewell Hill passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at the Moncton City Hospital after a very courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side. Ola was born in Moncton on June 9, 1936 the daughter of the late Hilliard Beaumont and Jean (Mitton) Beaumont. She was an active member of the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church and also belonged to the Women's Missionary Society. Ola was a homemaker and mother, she took great pride in raising her family. She was very faithful to her Lord and was ready to make the journey home to be with her Savior. Her determination and the way she put her trust in the Lord during her illness was a true inspiration to all those around her. She was a very special lady who will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Alden; her five daughters, Jean Jones of Brampton, Ontario, Lila Wood (Brian) of Moncton, Kathleen Murray of Alma, Arleen Woodworth of Havelock, Angela Elliott (Aaron) of Hillsborough; two sons, Carl Woodworth (Patricia) of NS, Dale Woodworth (Mary) of Hillsborough; three half sisters, Marion Tingley of Albert Mines, Verna Beaumont of Curryville, Linda Black (Bernard) of Curryville; two half brothers, Donald Beaumont (Winnie) of Grand Dique, Arden Beaumont (Marnie) of Hillsborough; her cherished ten grandchildren and her four great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her step mother, Beulah Beaumont of Hillsborough; several nieces and nephews and many good friends. She was predeceased by her parents and by step mother, Ada (Cook). Honoring Ola's own wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service in her memory will be held at the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church, Hopewell Hill on Friday, October 1, 2004 at 2pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating and Rev. Terry Branscombe, Rev. Gerald Matthews, Rev. John Hammond assisting. Internment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill. Donations to the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church, the Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape 734-2780. The family would like to give a special thanks for the exceptional care given to Ola by the many doctors and nurses of the Oncology Unit at the Moncton City Hospital, your kindness will never be forgotten. Where pain can no more touch me, Where no sorrow can ever be, You would be glad I slipped away, To this beautiful land of eternity."
