Dirk Johannes Bos January 22, 1923 - September 26, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) On September 26, 2004 after a long fight with dementia, Dirk (Dick) Johannes Bos peacefully passed away at the Chemainus Health Care Centre with his wife Winn by his side. Dick was born January 22, 1923 in the Netherlands, He was predeceased by his first wife Eppy and his brother Henk. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Winn, his caring children and step children; Baukje (Fred), Michael (Carol), Jim (Danielle), Dianne and Donna. Dick will also be greatly missed by his seven grandchildren and his five great grandchildren. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in memory of Dick to a charity of your choice. A Funeral Service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC on Friday, October 1, 2004 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow in the Sands Arbor Reception Centre. A private family interment will be held at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar, BC.
