ORGAN, Ruby Jane - 88, Halifax, passed away March 7, 2008, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, Ruby was a daughter of the late John and Annie (Gallop) Graham. Ruby was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was very proud of the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are daughter, Nancy Lee (Peter) Swallow, Hammonds Plains; sons, John, William (Diane) Organ, Halifax; Gary David (Christena) Organ, Orleans, Ont.; sisters, Muriel Morash, Queenie Corkum, both of Halifax; Dorothy McInnis, North Bay, Ont.; grandchildren, Kathy Elizabeth Swallow, Dallas, Tex.; Brian Ashley (Shauna) Swallow, Tantallon; Jamie Alexander (Kristine) Swallow, Hammonds Plains; John William Jr. "Bill" (Lisa) Organ, Hammonds Plains; Shari Lynn (Terry) Sabine, Halifax; Matthew Cody Organ, Orleans, Ont.; Caitlin Marie Organ, Orleans, Ont.; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Shawn, Lauryn, and Liam. Ruby was predeceased by her twin brother, William; sisters, Carol and Helen. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 9, in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax. Cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, in J.A. Snow Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jane Reid officiating. Interment in St. John's Cemetery. Family flowers only.
