Arthur Edward Collicutt January 07, 1925 - October 01, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) COLLICUTT, Arthur Edward - 79, Dartmouth, died October 1, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Percy Aubrey and Gertrude Louise (Haughn) Collicutt. He was educated at Tower Road School and Halifax County Academy. He served in the RCAF during the Second World War. He was employed by Trans Canada Air Lines/Air Canada as a radio operator for 32 years, after which he worked for Rosedale Nurseries. He was active in all branches of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, having served as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge, Grand Patriarch of the Grand Encampment and Department Commander of the Department Council, Patriarchs Militant. He represented his Grand Lodge at Sovereign Grand Lodge in 1983 and 1984, and in 1989 and 1999, he represented his Grand Encampment at Sovereign Grand Lodge. He was a member of Granite Lodge No. 158, Halifax Encampment No. 3, Canton Halifax No. 1 and Mizpah Rebekah Lodge No. 5. He was an associate member of Ivy Lodge No. 35, Colfax Rebekah Lodge No. 7 and Topaz Rebekah Lodge No. 125. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Mildred Martin; son, Wayne (Martha); daughter, Sharon Ryman (Dan); sisters, Margaret Collicutt, Vera Linihan, and Geraldine Moore; five grandchildren. He was predeceased by her brother, Donald. The body has been cremated. Visitation in Atlantic Funeral Home, Main Street, Dartmouth, on Monday, October 4, from 2-4 and 7-9, with the Odd Fellows Service at 7 p.m. Memorial service will be held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Dartmouth on Tuesday, October 5, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atlantic Odd Fellow and Rebekah Visual Research Program, P.O.
