JIM (JAMES) ERNEST PHILLIPS 1955-2008 The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the age of 52 years. Beloved husband of Louise Blier-Phillips. Dear father of Michèle Phillips of Toronto and Marc Phillips of North Bay. He will be sadly missed by his mother Beatrice Phillips. Dear brother of Gail Phillips (Tim Heron) and their children Bryce & Brianne and Dianne Phillips (Henry Furlott). He is survived by his mother-in-law Thérèse Blier as well as his sisters-in-law Claudette Blier and her children Christopher & Stéphanie Houle and Denis Blier, Diane Dumais and her children Tina & Pauline Blier. Predeceased by his father Ernest Phillips and uncle Tom Phillips. Jim had been employed with the Ministry of Natural Resources for the past 30 years. Jim loved the outdoors and with only a few years to retirement he had planned to build a new cottage where he could spend his leisure time with family and friends in the peace and tranquility of Ice Chest Lake. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Miron-Wilson Chapel (Rev. Darlene Hardy officiating). Remembrance donations to the Timmins & District Hospital Foundation or Charity of Choice would be greatly appreciated.
