Ball, Ronald 1946-2008 The family announces with sorrow his death at Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday March 26, 2008 at the age of 61 years. Dear brother of Sheila Cook of Caledon, ON, Don Ball (Francis), Dorothy Hurst (Burt), Beverly Champagne (Denis) and Dawna Gibson (Dan Rizzo) all of Timmins. Survived by sister-in-law Mary Ball of Nobleton, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Irene and Frank Ball Sr., brothers Frank Ball and Ervin Ball (late Jean). Worked at Hollinger Mine and was a proud employee of 30 years at Dome Mines Mill. Ron bravely fought his brief battle with cancer with courage and dignity. He will be missed by his family. Remembrance donations made to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday March 29, 2008 from MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME Chapel. Interment Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
