Maxwell: William (Bill) 1933 - 2004 It is with great sadness that the family of William (Bill) Maxwell, longtime resident of Drumheller, beloved husband of Anne (Landry), passed away peacefully. Bill died May 2, 2004 at the age of 71 at the Drumheller Hospital. Bill and Anne were married in Drumheller just days short of 48 wonderful years. Bill is survived by his children Bill (Margit), Robert (Lenna), Laurie (Tom), and Lorne; as well as 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bill would not want to forget all his nieces and nephews whom he loved as well. Bill s love for his children and especially grandchildren will be missed very much. Never missing a special moment in their lives. Bill was born in Calgary in 1933 moving many places in his life along with his brothers, Gordon, Art, Don, Tom and sister Marilyn. Bill s lifetime career which he took such pride in was welding, owning and operating Triple 'B' Welding for many years. Bill started welding at the age of 16 and semi-retiring at the age of 62. Bill was very well known by many for the ventures that his life took him through. Bill s goal in life was to retire back to the Drumheller Valley and become one of the coffee crowd getting together daily with the guys to exchange stories. Thanks guys. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2004 at the Grace Community Church, 1012 - 12 Ave. S.E., Drumheller, AB at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Drumheller Community Cancer Centre c/o 351 - 9 St N.W., Drumheller, AB T0J 0Y1.
