Frances Leona ZAACHARUK

Zacharuk: Frances (Blondie) Leona 1920 - 2004 Frances (Blondie) Leona Zacharuk, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, passed away peacefully May 1, 2004 at the age of 83. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Blanche (Frank) Laslo; her sons Blaine (Lynne) and Brian (Linda) Zacharuk; her beloved grandchildren Stephen (Vicki), Mary (Randy) Marnie, Darryl and Darcy; her great-grandchildren Kendra, Justine, Dustin, Ryan, Kenny and Cameron; her sister Evelyne and Blanche of Calgary; brother-in-laws Bob, Peter (Simone); and her sister-in-laws Kay (Ev) and Mary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her husband Steve, her parents Chris and Hansena Jorgensen, two brothers and three sisters. Frances was born in Bassano, Alberta on October 4, 1920 and was raised on a farm south of Hussar. She resided in Midlandville for 66 years. She will always be remembered for her kindness, soft spoken voice and her words of wisdom she always shared with her family. Our family would like to thank the nursing staff of the hospital and continuing care for all their affection and care shown to Mom over the last few weeks. Also a special thank you to Dr. Nahornick, for all his support and care. Thank you to all the Home Care staff and a special thanks for Nicky Samuel for all her support. You are all very special people. Thank you to all our family and friends for their support and words of comfort. A service for family and friends will be held at the Columbarium in Drumheller. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice. To Our Mom Our mother is a special gift sent from up above, God created her for us to cherish and to love. Sent with so much love to give, In our hearts she will forever live. Today our hearts are filled with sorrow, But all our memories will build a bright tomorrow. Love in life is like a golden ring, Bringing happiness to everything. Mom you were like a beautiful rose to us all, Our memories of you are like petals; And they ll catch us if we fall.
