Stanger: Thomas Spence (Tom) 1936 - 2004 Thomas Spence (Tom), born May 6, 1936 in Drumheller, AB, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2004 in Vancouver, B.C. Tom is survived by his loving companion Margaret; his children, Tom (Pattie), Phillip (Debbie) and Maureen (Randy) and their mother Brenda; grandchildren, Travis, Zachary and Stephanie; sister Liz VanDeRyse and her family of Drumheller, AB; also Margaret s family and many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 22 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Burnaby Funeral Directors, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. For those who wished, a viewing was held prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
