CIARAVINO, Vita (nee Milana) It is with great sadness that Vita's family announces her passing on July 22, 2004 at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital, at the age of 68 years. Beloved wife of the late Antonino (1980). Loving and devoted mother to Joe Ciaravino of Windsor. Predeceased by parents Natale and Rosaria Milana. Dear sister to Tony Milana and wife Stella of Michigan, Vincenzo Milana and wife Gina of Leamington, Rosario Milana and wife Nuccia of Windsor, Sam Milana and wife Elisabetta of Michigan, Illuminata Senia and husband Giuseppe of Italy, Brigida Castiglione and late husband Paolo of Italy. Predeceased by sisters Caterina D'Angelo and Maria Burgarella and husband Paolo. Dear sister-in-law to Mario Mazzara and Caterina Ciaravino of Windsor. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A., and Italy. Vita, along with her husband Antonino were the original owners of Capri Pizzeria (sold in 1966) and Arcata Pizzeria (sold in 1979). Presently, Vita and her son Joe operated Antonino's Original Pizza. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Saturday July 24, 2004 from 7-9 p.m and Sunday July 25, 2004 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Monday July 26, 2004 at 8:45 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. As an expression of your sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital. A sincere heartfelt Thank-you to the ICU doctors and nurses at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital for the compassion and care shown to Vita and her family. Also, a special Thank-you to Vita's niece and nephew Joe and Rosanna Ruggirello for their love and support during this very difficult time.
