ROY, Lionel 70 years, on Wed., July 28, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Flossie (nee Cormier, Sept. 29, 2003). Dear father of Jeannette Campbell and husband Ian of St. John, N.B., Jean-Marc Roy and wife Donna-Marie of Windsor. Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Cathine Roy. Dear pepe to Chantal-Marie, Jason-Michael, Shaun-Gordon, Jeffrey-Matthew and Carrie-Theresa and great-grandchildren, Joshua, Isaac and Lauren. Dear brother of Armand Roy and wife Evangeline of N.B., Lena Laundry of Milton, Ont., and Sylvio Roy and wife Norma of Toronto. Lionel was an active member of the dart league at the Belle River Legion #399. Visiting Friday, July 30, 2004 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral procession leaves Saturday, July 31, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame, Belle River, 728-1500 to St. Simon & St. Jude Church for Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Lionel Roy in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication will be held September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
