CHASE, Mrs. D. Ruth; Peacefully at her residence in Omemee, surrounded by love on Tuesday July 27, 2004, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Green and Albert Chase. Dear mother of Jim Green and his wife Carol of Peterborough, George Green and his wife Yvonne of Alexandria, Shirley Switzer and her partner Shelley of Omemee. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and sister Esther. Pre-deceased by her parents Ida Conley and Benson Carson, sisters; Eunice, Dorcas and Rhoda, brothers; Amos and Asa. Funeral service will be held at the FREE METHODIST CHURCH (450 Lansdowne St. East) on Friday July 30th at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held at the church 1 hour prior to the service. The Reverend Lloyd Eyre will be officiating. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In memory of Ruth, donations to the Free Methodist Church would be appreciated by the family.
