BORETSKY, Barbara Mary (nee Lukow) Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital on Monday, August 2, 2004 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Walter (2000). Cherished mother of the late Rev. Harry O.S.B.M. (1994), and Veronica and Rose Mary. Loving sister to the late Steve (1965) and Mike (2001), and surviving brother John Lukow. Sister-in-law to Mary Dawosyr. Loving aunt of Ann Burt, Jean Blahitka, Patti Jo Stam, Steven Lukow and Jeannie Marie Lukow. Also survived by many cousins and friends. A long time devoted member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Parish and Catholic Women's League. Visiting at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. (rosary at 2pm) and 7-9 pm. Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. Visitation to continue on Thursday, August 5, 2004 at St. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (1505 Langlois Avenue) from 10:30 until time of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Very Rev. Fr. Eugene Halitsky officiating and concelebrated with the Ukrainian Basilian Fathers. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens (Ukrainian Catholic Section).
