GRIFFIN, Joseph January 9, 1933-August 2, 2004 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father Joseph Patrick Griffin, age 71. Will be missed by children Brian, Lori, Donna, Carol and Jodi. Grandfather of Terry, Jill, Carla, Kendra, K.C., Kyle and Brianne. Great-grandfather of Nicholas, Alexis and Casey. Brother of Sherry and Gloria. Predeceased by his wife Anne, parents Katherine & Patrick Griffin, brothers Tom and Godfrey and sisters Kay and Charlotte. Dearly loved mother and best friend of Karen and husband Stuart Gunby. Beloved grandmother of Erica and husband John Scheffner and great-grandmother of Jade and Laurel and "Nanny" to children of all ages. Sister of David and wife Joyce, Edgar and wife Jan, Walter and wife Sylvia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Clifford and Percy, and her sisters Ruby, Audrey, Ethel, and Edith. Naomi had an inquisitive mind and wanted to get the bottom of everything. She was an avid reader and had an amazing wealth of knowledge pertaining to an extensive variety of topics. She was an optimist right to the very end and it was our honour to care for her during her illness. Cancer is a terrible disease and it is Naomi's wish that donations be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the Nan's Kids Team of the Tuesday Night Mixers. Cremation services have taken place.
