DIMOFF, Marion It is with bittersweet emotions that we mourn the death of Marion (Maria) Dimoff. Sunday August 8, 2004, 6 days before her 63rd birthday and after a 9 month struggle to defeat pancreatic cancer. Marion is now reunited with her forever loved brother Louie (April 27, 2004), her mom Mitra (1973), her dad Vangel (1980) and her dearest Teta Sophie (1996). Deeply saddened by Marions passing is her sister-in-law and friend Susan (Penrose), her niece Lisa Tremblay, husband Jeremy and their sons Sam & Max, her niece Stacey Chen, husband Ben and their children Simon, Owen and Lily and her nephew Stephan Dimoff, wife Karen and their sons Clay and Matty. Since 1996, Marion has been a second mother to her cousins Rebecca Lazar and husband Bruce Watson, Christine Wright and husband David, and Katherine Senter and husband Clark. Marion will forever be remembered as beloved "Maree" to Emmanuel and Seraphim, Amelia, Augustus and David, Oliver and Francis. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also remain both in the Fenton, Mi. and Toronto areas.Marion was a graduate of Dougall Avenue School and Patterson Collegiate. Her career included many years working in Detroit beginning with Research to Reality, Price Waterhouse and lastly Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Enterprises where she was always a devoted and valued employee. Marion made ever so many friends over the years but most recently with the Enterprises. Her sojourn there also afforded her the opportunity to travel extensively at home and abroad as part of the Buffalo Bills organization. We thank Mr. Wilson and all his staff for the love, kindness and generosity always shown Marion.Marions greatest love beyond the love for her family was the love for her church and her dearest friend Father Paul Jannakos of Grand Blanc, Mi. We thank you Father Paul for all your prayers, numerous visits to Windsor and time spent with Marion. You have given us all much comfort, particularly during this last week. Marion will be sorely missed by all who knew her but our joy is in knowing she has found peace at last with God in Heaven and those gone before. Friends will be received at Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (254-3223) on Tuesday, August 10, from 7-9 pm, Wednesday August ll,2-5 and 7-9pm with prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 12, 2004 from St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5225 Howard Avenue at 10:30 am with the Very Reverend Father Paul Jannakos and the Very Reverend Dr. Aleksandar Mustenikov officiating. Interment will follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
