DUFOUR, George 47 years, has joined Nanny in Heaven when he suddenly passed away on August 9, 2004 with his children holding his hand and loving family by his side. Beloved son of Lila (Le Roy) and Douglas Dufour of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Dear father of Meaghan and Michael Dufour of Tecumseh. Loving brother of Pat Wilson and husband Don of Windsor, Carol White of Sydney, N.S., Doug Dufour and wife Trish of Sydney, N.S., and Debra Dufour of Windsor. Sadly missed by nieces and nephew Steven White, Jennifer and Samantha Watson. Lovingly remembered by special grandma, Margaret Hill. George was employed on the midnight shift for many years at Chrysler Automotive. Special thanks to the E.R. and I.C.U. staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Visitation will be held at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) on Wednesday, August 11 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at St. Anne Church, Tecumseh on Thursday, August 12, time is incomplete and may be obtained by contacting the funeral home. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Trans Canada Trail or Red Cross would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of George Dufour in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
