RIVARD, Catherine May (nee Garvey) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, on August 13, 2004, at 80 years of age. Predeceased by her beloved husband Homer (1959). Loved and cherished mother of the late James (2003) and survived by his wife Nicole; the late Gary (1995); Paul and wife Jane; Linda Leduc; Gerald; Gail and husband Leonard Bombardier; Diane; and Ronald and wife Teresa. 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Elizabeth Hickson (1983) and her deceased husband Frank; Helen Swurtshek (1980) and her deceased husband Andrew; and brother Kenneth Garvey (1994) and survived by his wife Audrey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Emergency and I.C.U. units for their tender care and comfort provided to our mother. Visitation at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 68 Giles Blvd. E., on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, August 18, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
