SZCZECH, Peter 55 years, suddenly on August 16, 2004 at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband of 31 years of Kris (nee Sulik). Loving father of Mark Szczech and wife Gosia and Patricia Szczech and fiance Paolo Gatto. Loving Dziadzio of Matthew. Dear brother of Jeanne Szczech of Toronto. Loved son of Stella and the late Walter (1989). Son-in-law of Zygmunt and Janina Sulik. Brother-in-law of John Sulik and wife Teresa and Richard Sulik. Dear uncle and godfather of Paul Sulik and fiancee Susan St. Pierre. Uncle of Philip Sulik and wife Melissa and their daughter Trinity. Peter was an employee of Valiant Machine & Tool Inc. for 37 years. He was a member of Polish Alliance of Canada, Branch 20, Windsor for almost 20 years and an active member of Windsor's Polish Community and Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Visitation will be held Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 19, 2004 at 9:15 a.m. from Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., (253-5225) to Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens. A tree will be planted in memory of Peter Szczech in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
