Giovanni D'ORAZIO

D'ORAZIO, Giovanni 76 years. Passed away at Hotel Dieu Hospital on August 18, 2004. Beloved husband of Silvana for the past 49 years. Cherished Father of Maria Rosa Avery and husband Randall, Domenic D'Orazio and Deny D'Orazio and wife Jennifer. Loving Nonno of Alison, Brett, Angela, Katelyn and Danielle. Bis Nonno of Johnathon and Lilly. Dear brother of Paolino & Licia D'Orazio, Mississauga, Maria & Elio Silvestri, Pierina Bortolazzo, Emelia & Frank Carducci and predeceased by Domenico. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Giovanni was a 30year member of the Giovanni Caboto Club. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Spears, Dr. Baccus and Dr. Datillo and the staff of 3rf Floor east at Hotel Dieu Hospital for the dedicated care given to Giovanni. Family and friends will be received at the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue (253-5225) on Thursday August 19, 2004 from 2-5 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers 7:30pm. Funeral Friday August 20, 2004 leaving the funeral home at 8:45am to St. Angela Merici Roman Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. A tree will be planted in memory of Giovanni D'Orazio in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest.
