CURVEON, Fredrick Henry Mr. Fredrick Henry Curveon passed away on September 6, 2007 at his home with his family at his side, at the age of 64 years. Funeral Services for Fred will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, Saturday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. Following the Service, Fred will be interred in the Golden Community Cemetery to rest next to his parents. Fred was born in Golden, BC, on September 17, 1942, and had been a lifetime resident of the Golden area. He had worked for Greyhound Canada for thirty-nine years. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing and especially working with his hands fixing things. Fred is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Lynda; children, Shane (Susie) of Kelowna, Brenda (Mike) Plonka of Golden and Robert (Crystal) of Calgary; grandchildren, Airn and Hayley Plonka and Alyssa and Sara Curveon; sister, Donna Johnson of Port Alberni; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donations in memory of Fred may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, PO Box 1524, Golden, BC, V0A 1H0, specifically designated for research in Pancreatic Cancer.
