HAIG, Harold George - His family with sadness announce the passing of Harold at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Sunday, February 15, 2004 to join his beloved wife Patricia (deceased on January 6, 1988). Dearly loved and devoted father of Marilyn and husband Daniel Lemon of Norwood and Carol and husband Arnie Pritchard of Combermere. Loving and adored grandfather to Niquel Pataki and husband Jim of Combermere, Yvette Mullen and husband Neil of Burlington, Chris Lemon of Barrie and Dennis Lemon of Toronto. Proud great grandfather to Cheyenne and Hunter Pataki and Curtis Joseph Mullen. Survived by brother Austin Haig of Victoria, B.C. Predeceased by brothers Gerald and Arnold and sisters Marjorie and Dorothy. Predeceased by parents George and Margaret Haig. Harold is also survived by sisters-in-law Mrs. Estelle Shaughnessy (Justin) of Peterborough, Mrs. Eileen Chesson (Ralph deceased) of Toronto, Mrs. Joan Walsh (John deceased) of Hastings and Mrs. Betty Burgess of Edmonton. Also survived by brother-in-law Ted Collins (Theo) of Lakefield. Harold will be remembered for his kindness and sense of humour by many nieces, nephews and friends who have been welcomed into his life over the years. Family and friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, February 18th at 11:00 am, with Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens following.
