STEWART, Bessie Ilene "Betty" (nee: Beer) - Passed away on Monday, February 16, 2004 at Centennial Place, Millbrook in her 87th year. Betty, beloved wife of the late Arthur Stewart. Loving mother of David (wife Sue), Mark (wife Deborah), Mary Jane Axson (husband Jeff) and Greg (wife Jennifer). Caring grandmother of Evan, Breanne, Brooke, April, Melissa, Richard, Christina, Valerie, Robert, Andrew, David, Silas, Spencer, Stirling, Samuel and Camilla. Dear sister of Wilma Barnard, Allan Beer and the late Bruce Beer, Edgar Beer, Edna Buchanan and Clara Davidson. Will also be missed by many other family and friends. Retired R.N. from Peterborough Civic & Nichols Hospital, devout member of the Latter-Day Saint Church. Tireless supporter of the family farm and a passionate gardener who loved her flowers. Family and friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 7-9 pm Thursday, February 19th. Service will be held at The CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 748 Cumberland Avenue on Friday, February 20th at 1:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior.
