FARR, Ralph Vincent - At the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Wednesday, February 11, 2004. Vince Farr, in his 87th year, was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Farr (nee Gray). Dear father of Moira Lynn Farr of Ottawa and Elizabeth Jean Farr of London, England. Uncle of Jane Gray of Mississauga. Vince spent many years as a reporter with several newspapers, including the Toronto Telegram, the Toronto Star and the Barrie and Peterborough Examiners. In retirement Vince enthusiastically pursued his interest in nature photography and collecting antique camera equipment. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Following a private cremation, an informal memorial gathering will be held for Vince at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Vince can be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital - Palliative Care Unit or the Federation of Ontario Naturalists.
