HOLMES, Mrs. Olive Jean (nee Moore) - Gone to be with her Lord, on Monday, March 15, 2004 in her 88th year at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Beloved wife of the late Gordon "Maurice" Holmes. Loving mother of Kenneth Holmes and his wife Olive of Lindsay, June Pomeroy and her husband Curtis of Peterborough and Bonnie Holmes of Peterborough. Predeceased by her brothers Earl, Balfour, Vernon and Orval. Cherished grandmother of Cindy Juriga and her husband Rod of Mississauga. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends will be recieved at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, (600 Monaghan Rd S., Peterborough) on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2004 in the Nisbett Chapel at 2:30 p.m. with one hour of visitation before the Service. Reverend Jim Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Olive may be made to the Murray Street Baptist Church Memorial Fund or the Canadian Bible Society.
